An update, as promised in yesterday's post.
I am finally getting into FFXIII, typing this up during a cut-scene.
I'm ripping all my CDs to MP3, finally, and I'm going to set up one of the old boxes as a media server, keeping all of our music and photos on it.
I've applied for the OHSU graduate certificate in Biomedical Informatics - Health Information Track. Yeah, grad school, but not really. Let's see if ARRA will pay for it, then we'll see if I get the degree.
One of my very very favorite people is going through a very difficult time right now. So, please, spare a thought for her, if you could. She's wonderful, and it's shitty that she's in pain, so I think a big metaphysical hug is in order.
Other than that, things are peachy! I love my job, I love my husband, I love my house and I love Portland. I got new glasses, and prescription sunglasses. Now if it would just warm up a touch and the sun would start shining, I'd be estatic.
That's about it in my life. We miss Hockey very much, but there are kittens on the horizon, so we're happy about that prospect.
